If it is a pure titanium plate, it is only composed of titanium chemical elements. Titanium is very light. Usually used in the aviation industry, medicine, and also corrosion-resistant, so this price is higher.

Stainless steel is much cheaper. They have also been widely applied. The reason why stainless steel is not easy to rust is related to the chromium content in the steel exceeding 12.5%. Chromium can quickly form a dense passivation film on the surface of steel in both oxidizing and non corrosive media to prevent damage to the metal substrate. When the chromium content exceeds 12.5%, a dense and stable passivation film is formed. The rust prevention ability changes rapidly, and the rust prevention ability is greatly improved. That's why the chromium content in stainless steel should exceed 12%.

304 chemical elements 1Cr18Ni9Ti are commonly used in stainless steel materials, one of which seems to refer to the carbon content. Cr18 refers to the content of chromium. Ni9 refers to the content of NiTi, which is the titanium in the titanium plate.
